The Compostilla I thermal power plant is one of Ponferrada's industrial heritage landmarks. The documentation center of La Térmica Cultural is a library that aims to house the documentation of the thermal and nuclear power plants closed or in the process of closure of the Spanish territory. Currently you can find the planimetries and some manuals of the thermal power plants of the Minero Siderúrgica de Ponferrada and Compostilla.

This is an expanding space that plans to become a reference bibliographic center specializing in energy issues.

Access is reserved for professionals and researchers doing academic work on industry and energy production, who will have the option to consult and digitize some of the materials they need.
