Spaces
La Térmica Cultural consists of three buildings joined together to form a unit. In addition to the refurbishment of two of the historic facilities of the Compostilla I thermal power plant, the boiler room and the turbine hall, the New Building has been built to serve as a link between the two and as the main entrance hall. The complex is located in an elevated area, near the Sil river and at the foot of the Camino de Santiago, offering privileged views of Ponferrada.
The complex has a surface area of more than 6,500 m2 distributed over 3 floors and a seating capacity of 4,700 people at its maximum capacity. The spaces have different uses, such as hosting temporary and permanent exhibitions, holding artistic performances and informative events, as well as workshops and professional training courses.
The outdoor area has 39,000 square meters of green areas, with pedestrian paths that connect to the Compostilla neighborhood. La Térmica Cultural has surface parking spaces for cars and bicycles.

Turbines Room
This large hall is located on the second floor of La Térmica Cultural and stands out for its architectural uniqueness, beauty and versatility. Its high vaulted ceiling and the huge windows on two of its facades provide this space with great luminosity. It is the ideal setting for holding events of various kinds, such as dance shows or musical performances, but also fairs, congresses and presentations.

Anthracite Auditorium
This multipurpose space is designed to host forums, seminars and conferences, but it is also suitable for programming cultural activities, such as theater performances or acoustic music concerts. It can be accessed from the lobby or directly from the outside.
