The footprints of Altamira. Educa

07 Feb 2025 - 01 Jun 2025
An interactive extension of the original exhibition

The footprints of Altamira. Educate is conceived as a didactic extension of The footprints of Altamirawhich aims to generate educational experiences around the artistic, historical and cultural heritage. The public will interact with the elements of the exhibition, solve problems and will be provided with tools so that they can apply what they have learned in real contexts. For this, the little Neve, will be the character that guides the exhibition to, through peer learning and empathy, create an environment that can significantly enhance the learning experience.

The activities that accompany the exhibition, guided or autonomous, are designed to encourage creativity, collaboration and communication, as well as the development of curiosity. All of them are part of a tour, in which visitors will become archaeologists to understand how the hominids of Altamira lived and the importance of cave paintings in contemporary art. Dig treasures, dive into a Paleolithic cave and create your own cave paintings from pigments!
