Negro is music, image and words, involving the audience in the history, emotions and personal experiences of mining life. Adding image to traditional instruments, poetry and narration, the show acquires a rich variety, immersing the audience more intensely in the anecdotes, events, lights and shadows, the rise and fall of the basins staged by those who lived it firsthand. A small and moving tribute to that black and mining past.
This action is part of the Dinamiz-ARTj program promoted by the Institute for Just Transition (ITJ) and the City of Energy Foundation (CIUDEN) to boost cultural activity in municipalities affected by the closure of mining and thermal and nuclear power plants and to promote the careers of young artists living in these areas.
