Dinamiz-ARTj is a program promoted by the Institute for Just Transition (ITJ) and the City of Energy Foundation (CIUDEN) with the aim of revitalizing cultural activity in municipalities affected by the closure of mining and thermal and nuclear power plants.
One of the lines of action of this initiative is the development of a broad artistic and cultural program in the facilities of the various CIUDEN venues, such as La Térmica Cultural, which more than meets the requirements of suitability by having an auditorium, several multipurpose rooms and spacious exteriors.
Access to culture has been restricted at times due to the process of closing industrial facilities, a situation that Dinamiz-ARTj wants to reverse by establishing culture as a complement to the tourist offer in areas of high landscape and environmental value and by encouraging the public to get closer to the arts.
The protagonists of the multiple artistic performances are performers from the transition areas themselves, artists under 35 years of age with an incipient career. Dinamiz-ARTj wants to contribute to the promotion of their careers, in the way that this program thus configures a strong commitment to young talent, entrepreneurship and circular economy in these territories.
