El tema de Clara is a recital for solo piano by Noemí Teruel built around the figure of Clara Schumann, the first professional female concert pianist in the history of music. Through a program thought and devised with numerous musical references, it proposes a journey through the unknown music of Clara and two geniuses who loved her deeply: Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms.
It is a cyclical program, in which all the pieces are intimately related in a common spiral of inspiration: they show Clara's great virtuosic abilities, Robert's passionate love for her, as well as the deep admiration of the young Brahms.
Noemí Teruel's performance is part of the Dinamiz-ARTj program promoted by the Institute for Just Transition (ITJ) and the City of Energy Foundation (CIUDEN) to boost cultural activity in municipalities affected by the closure of mining and thermal and nuclear power plants and to promote the careers of young artists living in these territories.
