Participatory space for just transition zones
An incandescent home
To face the economic, social and climatic challenges of the present, but without forgetting where we come from. Preserving the mining and energy identity that has marked our character, but without ceasing in the search for alternatives for the future. This is the spirit of Just Transition: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, a participatory exhibition that brings the realities and experiences of transition zones to the public of La Térmica Cultural.
The exhibition consists of 27 panels with photographs by Eduardo Urdangaray, creator and head of the Mining Historical Archive and photojournalist with more than 30 years of career. The exhibition reflects the impact and adaptation models of territories with an eminent industrial past to the new context of ecological transition. This open space will also host the presentation of the different programs of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (MITECO) and the Institute for Just Transition (ITJ), to give visibility to the activities and areas of just transition in the Spanish territory.
