Synopsis: Juan, a journalist investigating the effects of coal in his community, returns home after many years. He celebrates a party with his school group. They will relive their childhood, comparing their memories in the coal mountain, in the classes, their problems, the good things... And many things they had never stopped to think about. How will this reunion influence Juan's research on the effects of industrialization and generational change?

The parable of coal is a performing arts project produced by La Térmica Cultural and the company Saltantes Teatro. This work is part of what is called document theater, that is, an open fiction that advances according to the contributions and interviews that the creators receive throughout the writing and development process.
