Hours: Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm, Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 10 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm.
The purpose of En torno a la oscuridad is to connect the mining identity in its rawest and hardest aspects, such as the intensity of the work, its danger and the proximity to death, with the musical language and its affective power.
The Bauhaus Quartet has selected different works with a markedly dramatic component that offer the listener the possibility of perceiving, through music, the deepest emotions and feelings of the human being. The beauty and depth of the selected works offer a space in which to find feelings such as consolation, acceptance or hope when facing situations of pain and loss, such is the power of music to communicate.
The performance of Cuarteto Bauhaus is part of the Dinamiz-ARTj program promoted by the Institute for Just Transition (ITJ) and the City of Energy Foundation (CIUDEN) to boost cultural activity in municipalities affected by the closure of mining and thermal and nuclear power plants and to promote the careers of young artists living in these territories.
