Hours: Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm, Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 10 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm.
Family and friends of Mario Tascón from Ponferrada, with the collaboration of La Térmica Cultural, have prepared for next Saturday, October 5, at 20:00 hours, a public event to remember his figure and his wanderings in El Bierzo, especially during his childhood and youth.
In An afternoon with Mario, Mario's old classmates and gang members will take part, such as Miguel Ángel Varela, director of the Bergidum Theater, and Pedro Josa, director of the CEPA Ramón Carnicer. Also taking part will be Alberto Villaverde, with whom he started Bierzo 7, Luis Tizado, member of the group Menta, the graphic designer from Ponferrada Nuria Fernández, who shared with Mario his time at the head of Prodigioso Volcán, and Beatriz Escudero (CEO of Pharmadus), whom he knew since childhood and with whom he undertook new projects when Mario decided to contribute part of his talent to his land.
Together, and in a cordial and relaxed atmosphere, they will draw the profile of the most Bierzo-born Mario. During his personal and professional career, the eldest of the Tascón brothers never ceased to proclaim that he was from Ponferrada and Bierzo. All the people from Bierzo who sought help in Madrid found in him a sincere support, and in the last years of his life Mario had focused most of his new projects in the region, where they still survive.
Open to the public
The event, scheduled for Saturday the 5th at eight o'clock in the evening in the Auditorium of La Térmica Cultural, will be open to the public until full capacity is reached.
