Guided tours of La Térmica Cultural: get to know our facilities
La Térmica Cultural is a space created and managed from Ponferrada by the City of Energy Foundation (CIUDEN) through the Institute for Just Transition (ITJ). We are in the former facilities of the Compostilla I thermal power plant, a place that, 50 years after ceasing its industrial activity, is now reborn as a multipurpose center dedicated to the arts, knowledge and professional training. And the fact is that, just like the energy produced in its entrails, culture is in constant transformation and sets societies on the road to the future. Because La Térmica Cultural has been, is and will be Incandescent Culture.
Schedule
- Thursdays and Sundays at 12:00 noon
- Friday and Saturday at 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m.
Price
- General: 5€/person
- Reduced rate*: €3/person
* Guided tour with the right to reduced rates for children between 7 and 18 years, over 65 years, pensioners, people with disabilities and their companions (as long as they are essential for the visit), holders of Youth Card, university students, large families, unemployed people, staff assigned to museum institutions, official tour guides and cultural volunteers with accreditation. Admission is free for children under 7 years of age.
