This Tuesday 12 has begun in Pozo Sotón in San Martín del Rey Aurelio (Asturias) the itinerancy of Enciende La Térmica. The virtual reality experience, La Térmica Cultural's own creation, where it can be performed permanently, premiered last March 31 coinciding with the inauguration of this facility in Ponferrada and since then has reached different areas of just transition of the Spanish territory. In fact, last November 13, 'Enciende La Térmica' landed at the Centro de Iniciativas Empresariales de Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo (Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo Business Initiatives Center), in the Guadiato ValleyIt will remain there until December 30, together with the traveling exhibition Ayer, hoy y mañana (Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow).
The temporary experience 'Turn on the thermal power plant' will be held at the Centro de Experiencias y Memoria de la Minería (CEMM), located at the Pozo Sotón, until February 29. Through a virtual reality (VR) experience, users will travel for fifteen minutes and in 360° all the facilities of a thermal power plant, from the arrival of the cargo at the coal park to the inside of the cooling tower.
The exhibition will be open from December 12 to January 5 and from January 26 to February 29. The opening hours will be from Tuesday to Thursday from 10:00 to 14:00 hours and from 16:00 to 18:30 hours and from Friday to Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00 hours and from 16:00 to 20:00 hours.
