Carrión Folk | Living Tradition

The group Carrión spreads our traditional music, melodies and rhythms that have almost been lost, decorating and wrapping them for the ears of all audiences. In their concerts they alternate traditional instruments with classical or modern instruments. In the concert that we are going to listen to there are themes from Castilla y León, predominantly themes from Palencia.

This action is part of the Dinamiz-ARTj program promoted by the Institute for Just Transition (ITJ) and the City of Energy Foundation (CIUDEN) to boost cultural activity in municipalities affected by the closure of mining and thermal and nuclear power plants and promote the careers of artists living in these territories.
