The performing arts project La parábola del carbón, co-produced by Saltantes Teatro and La Térmica Cultural, includes several workshops ranging from acting through dance to document theater, lighting and production. These workshops are free and are aimed at anyone interested, from 16 years old.
The actor, producer and technician from Leon, Carlos Dávila, will give a lighting workshop under the name of Basic Lighting for Stage Acts, which will take place on June 22 and 23.
Due to limited places, to participate in any of these workshops it will be necessary to register in advance by contacting the e-mail laparaboladelcarbon@gmail.com, indicating the title of the workshop, name and surname, age and if you have any experience in the discipline of the workshop you are registering for.
Important: Those registered commit themselves to attend all the sessions of the course.

Objectives
- To acquire the basic and necessary knowledge to be able to deal with the realization of a basic illumination in a scenic act.
To provide participants with basic technical knowledge for handling the equipment.
- Explore the variety of existing lighting elements.
- To develop the ability to deal with lighting proposals, according to the specific language of the scenic act.
- To make a lighting proposal for a specific act (theatrical scene).

Three sessions of 3 hours each. A maximum of 15 participants.

Actor, producer and technician of the Asturian company "Higiénico Papel Teatro".
For more than 15 years he has been developing his technical work, in addition to his company, with other Asturian companies and with the production of events and cultural programs related to the Performing Arts such as "Camino Escena Norte", "FETÉN" and "Dramática Insania", among others.
