The performing arts project La parábola del carbón, co-produced by Saltantes Teatro and La Térmica Cultural, includes several workshops ranging from acting through dance to document theater, lighting and production. These workshops are free and are aimed at anyone interested, from 16 years old.
The actor and producer from Ponferrada, Luis Alija, will give a production workshop entitled Introduction to Stage Production, which will take place on June 8 and 9.
Due to limited places, to participate in any of these workshops it will be necessary to register in advance by contacting the e-mail laparaboladelcarbon@gmail.com, indicating the title of the workshop, name and surname, age and if you have any experience in the discipline of the workshop you are registering for.
Important: Those registered commit themselves to attend all the sessions of the course.

Duration and participants
Three sessions of 3 hours each. A maximum of 15 participants.
Agenda
- Fundamentals of theatrical production
- Introduction to the key roles in theatrical production: direction, production, design, technique, etc.
- Exploration of the essential elements of the production: scenery, costumes, lighting and sound.
- Production strategies
- Working creatively with limited resources
- Case studies of successful resource-constrained productions and analysis of their approaches
- Production planning and execution
- Development of a Production Plan: from script selection to presentation.
- Organization of logistical aspects: budget, schedules, promotion and team coordination.
Delivered by Luis Alija
Graduated in Dramatic Art, specializing in Textual Interpretation at the ESAD of Asturias. He specializes in Cultural Management.
In 2013, together with Nerea Vázquez, he founded the company Saltantes Teatro with which he has produced more than 15 shows and since 2023, together with Mayra Fernández, he has directed the project "Dramática Insania".
As a producer and manager, he has worked for various public and private entities, specializing in the coordination of large-scale events.
He has been President of the Association of Cultural Managers of Asturias since 2021.
