The history of Velilla del Río Carrión
Mining. The trades of the mine offers a photographic journey through the trades that were carried out inside the mine, taking as a reference the exploitations in the area of Velilla del Río Carrión (Palencia). The great work of recovery of the memory carried out by the Club de Entibadores Palentinos has allowed the exhibition to be composed of images of the daily life of the mine, in addition to providing part of the instruments associated with these trades, which have been collected, stored and restored by this same association. Thus, the exhibition shows a vision of everyday life, putting a face to the professions and bringing the public closer to the performance of the people who worked in the mines.
