The exhibition Mining. The trades of the mine is a photographic journey through the trades that were carried out inside the mine, taking as a reference the exploitations in the area of Velilla del Río Carrión. The great work of recovery of the memory carried out by the Club de Entibadores Palentinos has allowed the exhibition to be composed of images of the daily life of the mine, in addition to providing part of the instruments associated with these trades, which have been collected, stored and restored by this same association. Thus, the exhibition shows a vision of everyday life, putting a face to the professions and bringing the public closer to the performance of the people who worked in the mines.
This new temporary exhibition responds to the line of work of La Térmica Cultural by hosting permanent and temporary exhibitions on topics related to energy and innovation, anthropology and culture and the mining and energy identity of the territory; as well as trying to give visibility to the activities and areas of just transition in the Spanish territory.
